The Origin of BallHawk

THE ORIGIN OF BALLHAWK BEGAN LIKE MANY OF THE FAMOUS BRANDS THAT ARE HOUSEHOLD NAMES TODAY. TWO FRIENDS LOOKING TO CREATE AN OPPORTUNITY THAT WOULD FREE THEM FROM THE RIGORS OF WORKING FOR OTHERS. AFTER A FEW WEEKS OF BRAINSTORMING, A DISCUSSION OVER A FEW DRINKS DURING MARCH MADNESS AND OUR OWN VERSION OF THE BAR NAPKIN CONCEPT, THE NOTION OF BALLHAWK WAS BORN.
DERIVED FROM A TERM USED IN BASEBALL FOR YEARS, THE DEFINITION OF A BALLHAWK HAS GROWN TO BE INCLUSIVE OF OTHER SPORTS IDENTIFYING ATHLETES ADEPT AT MAKING GREAT PLAYS ON OFFENSE AND DEFENSE.
THE INTENT OF BALLHAWK IS TO BE A HUB & SPOKE BUSINESS MODEL THAT ENABLES THE BRAND TO REACH ACROSS THE CONSTRICTED BOUNDARIES OF BEING EITHER HORIZONTAL OR VERTICAL, INSTEAD PURSUING A MODEL THAT ALLOWS COMPETITION IN BOTH.
